Friday turned out to be mostly a set-up day for folks... On Sunday, Mr. & Mrs. Alexander will be conducting hands-on demonstrations of rope and cinch making, explaining a variety of styles and uses for both as well as discussing from personal experience about rope machines, cinch looms, hand-forged cinch rings, and engraving.
Visit the Tired Iron Web site for more details about this even that cover a broad spectrum of equipment and how-to from the blacksmith's shop to log cutting... one building even has household equipment such as a working treddle sewing machine, various stoves, and many other home antiques. Step into the past to see how folks survived before there was a "grid".
